Picture of a river with overlaid wording: Our Coordinator is in. Come for a chat!

Our Coordinator of Visiting Volunteers will now be at the Mississippi Mills Public Library (MMPL), Pakenham Branch every Wednesday from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. starting on October 20, 2021 in the downstairs meeting room. This is in addition to Tuesday afternoons from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Almonte Branch. Drop by to discuss support for a loved one, grief or bereavement support, Advanced Care Planning needs or if you simply need someone to talk to about anything concerning hospice care and what supports HHNL can offer. No appointment necessary.

Is someone in your life dealing with a life-limiting illness? Do you have questions about hospice care? Would you just love to sit and chat with a knowledgeable person and find out what kind of support is available to you? Would you like to learn more about Advance Care Planning? Well now you can do this easily.

There is no commitment. This is part of our mandate to be more accessible to those in our community who need support at a difficult time.

We are working on setting up other satellite office location and times in the near future. So stay tuned for that announcement.

Our thanks once again to Monica Blackburn and Christine Row of the MMPL for all their support and help in coordinating this.

All COVID protocols will be in place so please remember to wear a mask, and bring your proof of vaccination.
